 Nele Goeyvaerts (Secretary)
Hi!
My name is Nele Goeyvaerts, I am 25 years old and I live in Tuilt (Kuringen), a small
village nearby Hasselt. My role in the JOSS board is ‘secretary’, which means that I’m writing the
reports of the board meetings and that I take care of PR stuff.
I have studied applied mathematics, two years at UHasselt and two years at KULeuven. In September
2006, I went back to UHasselt to follow the master program in Biostatistics. A few months later,
however, there was a vacancy at CenStat for a PhD and since March 2007 I am working here in the
area of infectious diseases!
I like to travel, spend time with my friends, listen to music, watch a movie and I commit
myself to do one hour of sports a week :-)
