 Emanuele Del Fava (Treasurer)
Hello,
my name is Emanuele Del Fava and I come from Italy. After my MSc in Statistics applied to Economics at the University of Pisa (Italy), I decided to come in this little (but friendly)
corner of the world which is Diepenbeek, where I got my MSc in Biostatistics. Currently, I am doing a PhD in the area of Modelling Infectious Diseases, since October 2008.
My role in JOSS is the “Treasurer”, together with Leen. Since more money the JOSS has, the cheaper will be the activities for the students, our role is to take care that JOSS has always
enough money to guarantee to the students of the Master of Statistics some interesting, funny, and economic activities.
As regards myself, I like to travel and meet new friends; I love listening to music, dancing, going to cinema and to theatre, and
reading books.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you at JOSS activities!
