 An Creemers (Vice-president)
Hello,
My name is An Creemers, I am 26 years old and I live, together with my husband Lieven, in Peer, a city in the north of Limburg, 30km from Hasselt. 8 years ago, I started
my studies in mathematics at the University of Hasselt (at that time, it was called the LUC). 2 years later I went to the University of Antwerp to become a master in mathematics,
and since 4 years, I’m back in Diepenbeek as a teaching assistant. That means I am making a Ph. D. and I teach courses in statistics and mathematics to the Belgian bachelor students.
In the JOSS board, I have been the secretary for several years, but since last year, I became the vice-president. That means I assist our president in managing our team of board
members and help organising some fun activities.
I have 2 big hobbies: playing the piano and volleyball; playing it myself (for almost 20 years now) and teaching children how to play it. Further, I like traveling
(and specially skiing), playing tennis in summer, going to the movie, ...
