The brochure presents the Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and ICP-Biostatistics
trajectories, and reflects the new, 2-year cycle situation, owing to the implementation
of the Bologna structure.
Please familiarize yourselves with the differences relative to the current situation.
First, Bioinformatics is added as a new track, strongly connected to but different
from Biostatistics. Second, the new, 2-year Biostatistics program is largely the built
upon the combination of our current one-year Applied Statistics and Biostatistics Programs.
Third, the new, 2-year Applied Statistics program is an expanded version of the current
1-year Applied Statistics program. Fourth, we prominently and separately present the
ICP-Biostatistics program; it is very similar to the main Biostatistics Program, but places
particular emphasis on topics relevant for the economically developing world.
Let me take this opportunity to thank every one for your dedication, often in multiple
capacities, to our Master Programs, and therefore to the success of it.
